A bicyclist in Peru was injured after he was hit by a pickup truck late Thursday night.
Indiana State Police say 35-year old Jacob Aulds was riding his bicycle in an alley near Chili Avenue near Adams Avenue, when he allegedly failed to yield to traffic and rode into the road at Chili Avenue, and was struck by a 2002 Dodge pickup truck. Aulds was thrown from the bicycle.
Aulds was initially taken to Dukes Hospital in Peru and was later flown to a Fort Wayne hospital. He was last said to be in serious condition.
