Philip Andrew Hann-Hawkins of Winona Lake, Indiana left this world unexpectedly at 12:40 p.m. at Lutheran Hospital of Fort Wayne, Indiana on Friday, October 8, 2021 at the age of 33.
Philip was born on December 19, 1987 in Santa Cruz, California to Catherine Francis Hann-Hawkins and John Eric Hawkins.
He spent most of his life in Kosciusko County, Indiana where he was a 2006 graduate of Warsaw Community High School in Warsaw, Indiana. Philip was a bright young man and attended Indiana University earning his bachelor’s degree in 2012. Like most young men trying to find their way in life, he worked various jobs throughout his life. Philip was always good with his hands and had an eye for detail. He had spent the last few years working as a finish carpenter until his passing.
In his 33 years on this earth, Philip left an undeniable and unforgettable imprint on the hearts of those that loved him. He was a loving son, brother, and friend to many and will be dearly missed.
He leaves behind his father: John Hawkins (Winona Lake, Indiana); and his sister: Rachel (Joshua) Wright (Fort Wayne, Indiana). He was preceded in death by his grandparents, and his mother, Catherine Hann-Hawkins in 2018.
Philip’s life will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 14, 2021 at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw, Indiana and officiated by Pastor Bruce Barlow of Winona Lake Grace Brethren Church. Friends and family may visit an hour prior to the service from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Philip will be laid to rest at a later date at Oakwood Cemetery of Warsaw.
