Based on the fire investigation conducted at the scene by Kosciusko County Fire Investigation Team, Indiana State Fire Marshal’s office and the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms, the Egg Innovations Feed Mill fire that happened November 6th appears to have started in a hopper that was being used to process alfalfa into chicken feed. The fire spread to the structural members causing approximately extensive damage to the structure and equipment. Due to the extreme amount of damage, the exact cause is being ruled as undetermined.
