A Pierceton man is accused of kidnapping his children.
20-year-old Jason Nelson allegedly approached the two minors at a vacant lot in a mobile home park, and threatened them with a knife.
The children told police they followed him out of the mobile home park out of fear that he would otherwise hurt them.
Court documents say Nelson’s mother showed up and distracted him during which time the children were able to get away.
He was booked into the Kosciusko County Jail for kidnapping and intimidation on June 4.
