The fundraising event that gets participants to jump into cold winter waters is returning to Warsaw.
The Polar Plunge will take place February 17 at Center Lake. Each person who dares to take the dip needs to raise at least $75, with all funds going to local Special Olympics athletes.
Special Olympics Indiana is also working to make sure local schools are inclusive to special education and Special Olympics sports and related activities.
Mentone Elementary has been named one of 30 “Banner Schools” in the Unified Champion Schools effort.
