WARSAW — The Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting on the west side of Warsaw Thursday afternoon.
Dispatch received a report of a shooting at about 1 p.m. at 1904 Rosemont Avenue, which is near the Roundabout off Lake Street.
Police found a male with a single gunshot wound who was flown by Lutheran Air to Fort Wayne for treatment of his injuries. His condition is unknown at this time, a news release from the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office said.
About 45 minutes later, a person of interest came to the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office to speak with investigators in regards to the shooting.
Police did not release names or any other details about the shooting other than to say the investigation is continuing.
