WARSAW — Kosciusko County Republican Chairman Mike Ragan has filed to seek re-election at the Republican Party’s upcoming reorganizational caucus.

County-wide Republican precinct and vice-precinct committeemen will meet at 10 a.m. on
March 1, to select a central committee for the next four years.

All county parties in Indiana will reorganize on March 1. In addition to the chairman, Republicans will select a vice chair, a treasurer, and a secretary.

Ragan was first elected to serve as chairman on Aug. 3, 2016, following the retirement of Randy Girod.

Since assuming the position, Ragan has established a Republican Headquarters at 123 West Center Street in Warsaw, which has been in operation year-round since 2017.

During Ragan’s tenure, the Republican Party has maintained consistently high margins of victory in county and statewide races and expanded its dominance in municipal and township offices. For the first time in memory, all township trustees in Kosciusko County are now Republican-held.

in addition to the annual Lincoln Day and Man and Woman of the Year dinners, two annual fish fries and a Lilypad boat outing, he has expanded the party’s events program to include popular Gun Bingo, Trivia Night, and Golf Outing events.

He has worked to establish and encourage strong and active Young Republicans and Republican Women groups.

In what might be his most public role, Ragan has overseen more than 50 caucus appointments across the county that are needed when an officeholder resigns before their term is complete.

If re-elected, Ragan pledges to build upon the progress of his tenure in office and
continue to be a unifying leader who is open and accessible to all local Republicans.
