Ralph Legate, 95, of Warsaw, Indiana, passed away on Friday, November 5, 2021 at Millers Merry Manor, Warsaw. Born on March 30, 1926 in Lonoke, Arkansas, Ralph was the son of Andrew and Ola Belle (Finnley) Legate. He was united in marriage to Martha Liles on November 28, 1947 in Little Rock, Arkansas. She preceded him in passing October 28, 2015.
Ralph proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He and Martha moved to Southern California in 1951 and then returned to Arkansas in 1988. They relocated to Warsaw in 2015.
Ralph is survived by two daughters, Barbara (Jerry) Hatfield, Warsaw and Louise (Harold) Hallikainen, Tucson, AZ, two grandsons, David Newcomb and Andrew (Elizabeth) Newcomb, both of Colorado, and one great grandson, Kubrick Newcomb of Colorado. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Deborah Hogue, son, John Legate, and his grandson, Zachory Hogue, three sisters and two brothers.
There will be a burial in Vilonia Cemetery, Vilonia, Arkansas at a later date.
