Big Brothers Big Sisters serving Kosciusko County will hold its third annual Big Ride for Kids’ Sake Aug. 2. Registration starts at 10 a.m. at The Bowling Alley, 1535 N. Detroit St., Warsaw, and the escorted ride begins at 11 a.m. The cost is $20 for a single rider and $25 for a rider and passenger. Money raised from the event stays in Kosciusko County to support the mentoring of at-risk children. The 100-mile motorcycle ride starts at The Bowling Alley in Warsaw with a send-off by guitarist Kevin Kyle playing his rendition of The National Anthem. While the riders are gone, the “Littles,” with the help of their “Bigs,” will construct and decorate model cars donated by Lowe’s Home Improvement to be judged by the riders when they return. The state police-escorted ride will return to The Bowling Alley where lunch will be provided. There will be door prizes, live music, a raffle, a hot dog eating contest and live music.
