Rift Between Two Indiana Congressional Members

Indiana is witnessing an unusual public rift between two members of its congressional delegation due to the Senate seat Dan Coats is vacating. A Marlin Stutzman fundraising letter attacked Todd Young as a special-interest candidate “who will say anything to get to D-C.” Former state G-O-P chairman Murray Clark, who's part of Young's steering committee, says he was surprised by the attack. Clark notes there can be tension when two members are seeking the same committee seat, much less running against each other in a primary.
