While Night Ranger rocked the crowd, the community gave generously to the KC Riley Kids Fund.
This year’s Rockin’ Concert for Riley in Warsaw’s Central Park raised $4,372.94.
That’s nearly double what the concert in 2017 raised, which was $2,826.78.
Concert-goers frequented the Kosciusko County Community Foundation tents and the 107.3 WRSW tent to put their donations in the red buckets before and during the show on Friday June 15.
Co-founders of the KC Riley Kids Fund Alan Alderfer and Mike Bergen started the fund to help Kosciusko County families who have children receiving treatment at Riley Children’s Hospital.
In addition to money for the hospital itself, the fund is also used to help locals with gas, food, and lodging while their child is in Riley’s care.
