A teen suffered abrasions and pain after her vehicle hit an embankment, causing it
to roll over.
Last Wednesday, a Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office deputy responded to a crash on West Union Street, approximately 500 feet from Ind. 15. A gray 2002 Toyota Camry was eastbound when it crossed left of center and ran off the north side of the road.
The Camry continued off the north side of the road, colliding with an embankment. The driver, Riley Hale, 17, West Lakeview Park Drive, Warsaw, stated she was unaware of the impending curve and she lost control of the vehicle after making the curve and hitting the embankment.
Hale complained of pain to her hip and suffered abrasions on her arms and hands. She
refused treatment at the scene, saying she would seek medical attention at a later
time. The report states Hale was wearing her safety belts at the time of the crash.
Damage was estimated at $10,000 to $25,000.
