S.R. 19 will be closed between West Monroe Street and S.R. 25 in Mentone staring Monday at 6 a.m.
The Indiana Department of Transportation says the closure is allowing the railroad crossing to be rebuilt.
They say the official state detour is S.R. 25 to S.R. 331 to S.R. 10, but there may be other local detour routes available as well.
The work is expected to be completed by Friday August 15 at 6 p.m.
