The Kosciusko County Coroner’s Office has confirmed the identity of the second body from the February 13th fatal fire in Milford as being Jose Medina. Medina’s body was found by firefighters on the first floor of the residence. Medical examiners from the Northeast Indiana Forensic Center identified Medina through DNA testing and say the cause of death was smoke inhalation. An electrical malfunction in a ceiling light was ruled the cause of the fire, which also killed Annalu Nunez.
