September is Hunger Action Month, and a new report finds hunger in Indiana is not declining. According to numbers from the USDA, nearly 375 thousand Indiana residents struggled to put food on the table between 2011-2013. Emily Weikert Bryant with Feeding Indiana’s Hungry says after the recession, many people still make low wages or are without a job. She encourages Hoosiers to step up and help their hungry neighbors by volunteering at a food pantry, donating to a food drive, or making a monetary donation.
