Deer hunters throughout Northern Indiana are gearing up for Saturday’s opening day of the 2015 firearms season. Men and women, young hunters and seasoned veterans will be in their tree stands and blinds before sunrise Saturday morning hoping to find a trophy buck and meat for their freezer. We should all be aware that deer will be on-the-move as the bullets start flying and will be more of a hazard to drivers during these two weeks than during the rest of the year combined. And hunters always follow the state’s rules for hunting, and we’ve posted a link to the DNR’s website with those rules. http://www.eregulations.com/indiana/hunting/
