The 16th Annual Shrine Turkey Shoot will be Oct. 11 and 12 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Beeson’s Gun Range, 8994 W. CR 25S, Etna Green, just off Crystal Lake Road. The annual shoot is to support the Kosciusko County Shrine Club and Mizpah Temple’s philanthropic mission to support the Shriner’s Hospital for Children. Mizpah Temple in Fort Wayne, supports many local counties, including Kosciusko. In this county it serves over 100 patients, and in the area it serves 1,250 patients. The health care system is comprised of 22 hospitals dedicated to providing children’s healthcare and has treated over 1 million children to the age of 18, regardless of the ability to pay.
