A Silver Lake man accused of molesting two children is being held on $151,000 bail.
Daniel S. Louvier, 37, of 208 S. High St., Silver Lake, was booked in the Kosciusko County Jail at 3:38 p.m. Friday and is facing two Level 4 felony child molesting charges.
According to the probable cause affidavit filed Friday in Kosciusko Superior Court I, on Dec. 8 the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office received a report of child molesting involving Louvier fondling two children.
During forensic interviews with the Department of Child Services, the children both said that Louvier would touch their private areas by pulling them closer and putting his hands down their pants, according to court papers. Louvier is also accused of putting lotion on one of the children inappropriately, the affidavit state.
The children reported this happened multiple times over the past year.
