Roving patrols and a sobriety checkpoint will be part of county and local enforcement of impaired and dangerous driving in Kosciusko County Friday night.
A press release from the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department says they are just one of several agencies in the area participating in enforcement efforts as part of the Kosciusko County DUI Taskforce. Its all part of the year-long state-wide DUI Taskforce Indiana project aimed at reducing alcohol-related crashes, deaths, and injuries.
Police Departments in Mentone, Milford, North Webster, Silver Lake, Syracuse, Winona Lake, and here in Warsaw are all involved in addition to the Sheriff’s Department.
The project is funded by grants received by the Governor’s Council on Impaired and Dangerous Driving.
