The Kosciusko County DUI Taskforce has announced a sobriety checkpoint for the month of May.
It will be on Friday May 18 from 10 p.m. until 2 a.m. though the location is unspecified.
The Taskforce is a year-long statewide project aimed at reducing alcohol-related crashes, deaths, and injuries. The agency says they are committed to making the roads safer by having an increased presence and DUI enforcement throughout Kosciusko County.
They’ll also continue roving patrols during the month of May.
The project is funded by the Governor’s Council on Impaired and Dangerous Driving.
