WARSAW — The opening weekend of Soul Taker’s Acres has been pushed back a week.
The annual Halloween event was set to open Friday at the Kosciusko County Fairgrounds but has been postponed until Friday, Oct. 4.
The fairgrounds issued the following statement on its Facebook page late Wednesday night.
“We regrettably must announce we will be postponing our Opening Weekend. It will now be Friday and Saturday, October 4th and 5th. Safety/Walkthrough Meetings are also going to be rescheduled. We will post those as we get them arranged.”
An updated poster on the Facebook page (see below) points out that the
Zombies Alive! — a paintball-style competition that coincides with Soul Taker’s — is still scheduled to begin Friday and Saturday. Hours are 8 to 11 p.m.
