One man is dead and a suspect is in custody after a shooting near the intersection of Olive Street and Linden Avenue in South Bend. Police were called to the scene Saturday around 11:30 pm where they found the victim suffering an apparent gunshot wound to the stomach. It's believed the gunfire may have stemmed from an argument. Authorities have not released the names of the victim or the suspect. St. Joseph County Metro Homicide is still investigating the incident.
