The huge fire at the Fun F/X Warehouse in South Bend continues to be a mystery.
WSBT reports that the investigation is expected to take months, and quotes officials who say there’s a chance the cause may never be found. The investigation is being hampered by unsafe conditions at the building, which is considered a total loss. Officials believe it may have started on the second floor.
There’s also no way of knowing yet if any homeless people were inside. Three people who were known to have been in the building got out safely.
