Kosciusko County saw a spike in coronavirus cases last week.
In the first of two updates for the week from the Kosciusko County Health Department, 108 combined cases were reported, 70 of those being antigen cases.
Between last Thursday and yesterday at noon, 62 cases were reported. This brings the county’s cumulative total up to 1,374.
Of those cases, 208 are active, including eight hospitalizations. The number of active cases have gone up over the past two weeks after hitting a low point with 123 back on Friday, September 25th. Last Wednesday, Teresa Reed said a notable rise in cases came from a recent community gathering, although that gathering was not named.
1,151 people have recovered from the coronavirus.
