Today the State Board of Education will consider several resolutions. One of which is getting a lot of extra attention. It's Indiana’s No Child Left Behind waiver. Specifically the resolution is calling into question the steps the Department of Education took in submitting its waiver application. In response, Schools Superintendent Glenda Ritz says that she's always been in favor of renewing the waiver, but she feels as though the State Board of Education has different plans. She went on to say that if this resolution is passed, it will place the state's waiver in QUOTE “serious jeopardy.”
