The State Fair ended Sunday and officials say it could be of their top fairs ever. Through the weekend they were just two percent off the all-time record pace, a little more than 978 thousand. Andy Klotz is the PR director for the fair says it could easily be one of the top five years ever. There's been about 115 of them.
He says the beer and wine pavillon has been received well, the free stage has been drawing well nightly. and in his words, overall it's been a a great fair.
