INDIANAPOLIS – Two local lawmakers have been given their committee assignments for the new legislative season, which begins in January.
According to a news release, State Rep. Craig Snow (R-Warsaw) will join the House Ways and Means committee. He will serve as vice chair of the House Insurance Committee, and continue as a member of the House Agriculture and Rural Development Committee.
State Rep. Dave Abbott (R-Rome City) was reappointed as vice chair of the House Natural Resources Committee and will remain a member of the House Employment, Labor and Pensions Committee, and the House Government and Regulatory Reform Committee.
Abbott was also appointed as Assistant Majority Caucus Chair, a House Republican leadership position.
House lawmakers are scheduled to convene for the session on Jan. 9. Hoosiers can visit iga.in.gov to find legislation, view calendars, and watch committee meetings.
