WASHINGTON, D.C. – Indiana 3rd district Congressman Marlin Stutzman’s annual job fair returns to the Indiana University–Purdue University Fort Wayne campus from 1 to 4 p.m. Aug. 8 in the Walb Student Union Classic Ballroom, 2101 E. Coliseum Boulevard, Fort Wayne.
“Our annual job fair is a limitless tool to keep Northeast Indiana on track to remain competitive in the global market. Our goal is to partner innovative programs and tailored services to strategically connect workforce skills and hardworking Hoosiers with employer demands across 11 counties,” Stutzman explains.
Attendees will learn how to:
– Highlight their experience and qualifications
– Create a vivid, positive impression on employers
– Develop contacts to build a professional network
Both the job fair and training session are free and open to the public. Participating businesses have indicated they have job openings for over 2,167 positions.
All participants are asked to park in garage number two.
Job fair doors open from 1 to 4 p.m. WorkOne Northeast Indiana is offering resume and interview workshops from noon to 3 p.m.
