Two parks are closing in Syracuse on July 3rd and 4th due to concerns over the coronavirus.
At their meeting on June 16th, the Syracuse Town Council passed a resolution to close Lakeside Park and Hoy’s Beach those two days because of the recent spike of the virus.
Officials said in a release on Thursday that it was determined to be the best decision for the safety of the community and with social distancing and gathering recommendations from officials in regards to COVID-19.
