WARSAW — After a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic, the annual Taste of Agriculture of Kosciusko County returns to the county fairgrounds in Warsaw on Tuesday.
The public is invited to visit the fairgrounds from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday to sample an array of items grown locally.
Visitors can enjoy free samples of ice cream, salsa, beef, port, duck, cheese eggs and popcorn.
The sheep barn will have six different items to taste and other foods will be spread around in different barns.
More than 100 door prizes, including gift certificates for groceries, will be given away.
In addition to Tuesday night’s event, more than 1,000 fourth-grade students from across the county will experience the taste of ag and participate in numerous activities Tuesday and Wednesday.
Organizers said they hope kids experience the day’s events and encourage parents to bring them back for more Tuesday night.
