SOUTH BEND — Teachers Credit Union, commonly known as TCU, is changing its name.
The new name will be Everwise Credit Union.
Customers were informed by email of the change and were assured the credit union has not been sold and that it was just a branding move.
The announcement said it will remain 100-percent member-owned and keep its headquarters in South Bend.
The change will also bring with it a new logo and will be effective on June 26.
“Yes, it is a new name, with a new logo, new colors, and new overall look. But rest assured, we’re the same people you know and trust,” said Jason Osterhage, president and CEO.
