Some Hoosier teachers getting ready for the school year are starting to worry about the recently revamped, ISTEP exams. A lot of teachers will be back in classrooms by the end of the week and some of them are facing the task of preparing students for the standardized test that's been retooled for the third time since 2009. Test results help to determine whether teachers get a raise and how schools are graded on the state's A-to-F rating system. The new test will assess students' skills of Indiana's newly-adopted math and English benchmarks. These changes come after nearly two years of battles over education policy.
