A 16-year-old boy has been arrested in connection to the shooting death of a South Bend man last August. The teen was charged with felony murder and attempted armed robbery in juvenile court for the death of Francisco Javier Guzman. The 22 year-old was shot to death at a home in the 4400 block of Huron Circle in South Bend after two people knocked on the door and asked for his name. Suspected gunman Arremone Tobar told police that he was the person who shot Guzman. Prosecutors have filed a motion to have the 16-year-old boy’s case moved to adult court. A hearing is set for August 19th.
