The Beaman Home says their second Angels of Hope Luncheon raised nearly $30,000.
The event was held April 18 and included the story of Linda Bowdler, who witnessed the murder of her daughter, Lisa.
The funds raised will go towards the Beaman Home’s mission of providing shelter, education, and confidential services to domestic violence and sexual assault survivors.
Those who were unable to attend but wish to contribute can participate in the Lisa Bowdler Angel Society. The Beaman Home had 35 people enroll during the event, but aims to have 100 total monthly supporters.
