It looks like its going to be a cold winter, but maybe not as cold as the last one. Dave Tucek with the National Weather Service says the cooler summer and climate predictions lead him to draw that conclusion. He expects us to have around 25 to 26 inches of snow this winter with cold temperatures, but he doesn't expect to have a long stretch of subzero temperatures. He says, forecasters will have a better idea when the official winter outlook comes out in mid-October.
