Three people were hurt in a two vehicle accident north of Syracuse Saturday. The Elkhart County Sheriff’s Department says 24-year old Mitchell Huffman of Walkerton was travelling on US 6 at 7:45pm and allegedly failed to yield at the 4-way stop at State Road 13, hitting a van driven by 47-year old Kevin Grindle of Syracuse. Grindle suffered a neck injury, his wife Regina suffered neck and rib injuries and Huffman had a broken ankle. All three were taken to IU Health-Goshen for treatment.
