Tippecanoe Valley High School announced the passing of one of their students, junior Chance Beck Friday afternoon. A press release from the school corporation stated “Tippecanoe Valley’s students, staff, and the community are grieving the passing of Tippecanoe Valley High School junior, Chance Beck. Notification was received Friday that Chance passed away at his home in Miami County.” Students and staff at TVHS were informed of the passing of Beck prior to the end of the school day. School counselors, mental health professionals and area pastors were at TVHS over the weekend to answer questions and offer support for students and staff. The public is encouraged to keep the family of Beck, and the students and staff of TVHS in their thoughts and prayers.
