New tips and clues are needed to help find the person behind a deadly Elkhart shooting that happened this week, fifteen years ago. It was September 9th, 1999, Elkhart Police responded to a shooting in the 600 block of West Lexington. Officers arrived to find a woman performing CPR on 28-year old Marlys Harper, who had been shot. Marlys died from her wound and the only person home with her at the time of her shooting was her young son.
