Warsaw Traffic Safety Commission Wednesday approved eliminating a parking spot on Lake Street and extending the length of parking lines near Mutual Bank. The issue has intensified since the angle parking on the west side has become unlimited and more vehicles are parking there all day. During Wednesday’s meeting, the commission voted for the parking lines to be extended by eight feet from 10 feet to 18 feet since Lake Street was resurfaced and the angle stalls do not meet standard-size parking spaces. The commission also approved eliminating the parking space on the southern spot on the west side of Lake Street to help with sight issues.
