A trial date is now set for a man accused of murdering a Mishawaka High School student more than 25 year ago. 44 year-old Phillip Geans will go to trial on December 8th. This, following the completion of psychological evaluations. Geans was arrested late last year under suspicion of shooting to death Theresa Burns in 1988. She was found, suffering from numerous gunshot wounds, inside her home. Geans is being held without bond at the St. Joseph County Jail.
