State Police say they've found the abandoned truck of one of three men facing charges in a double-slaying in southern Indiana. Police say 35-year-old John R. Carpenter's truck was discovered Thursday night in a wooded area about one mile east of the Harrison County town of New Amsterdam near the Ohio River. The Marengo man and second man who's also wanted on murder charges in the killings remain at large. A New Albany man who also faces murder charges in the fatal shootings was arrested Wednesday in Monday's double homicide and triple shooting near Paoli about 45 miles northwest of Louisville, Kentucky. That shooting fatally wounded 56-year-old Nicholas Fields and 25-year-old Corey Michael Harris, both of Paoli. A third man is hospitalized with a gunshot wound to the mouth.
