Police in Columbia City have arrested two people allegedly connected to the vandalism at a park there over the weekend. Fire crews were called to the Every Kids Dreamland Park after someone set fire to its plastic playground equipment around 11:30pm Saturday night.
The Journal Gazette reports that two witnesses say they saw the fire and tried to help put it out until fire trucks arrived. The park has surveillance video cameras, and police say they have pictures of the two men accused of damaging the park. The two people arrested have not been identified.
