Two men were arrested, one woman was shot in the leg during a party near Cromwell Saturday night.
The Noble County Sheriff’s Office says it happened at a property in the 10000-block of West County Road 375 North, where a party with “hundreds of people” was taking place.
In their investigation, the Sheriff’s office says a fight broke out between two men, which was broke up, then a second fight started soon after. A relative of the property owner shot a gun into the air to attempt to break up the second fight, and a second shot into the ground was the one who hit the woman in the leg.
The two that were arrested were Jonathan Hinojosa and Esteban Martinez, both have preliminary charges of criminal recklessness. The case remains under investigation.
