Two boys died in an apparent accidental double drowning.
Indiana Conservation Officers were called to Redinger Ditch in Argos on Sunday afternoon.
Several kids were playing in or near the ditch when one of them began to struggle in the water, according to conservation officers.
In an attempt to save that victim, the juveniles formed a human chain. That’s when another boy fell victim to the water and died.
The victims were identified as brothers: 13-year-old Mahlon Martin and 12-year-old Kenneth Martin.
