Another rise and another single-week record in the number of reported coronavirus cases last week, along with two additional deaths related to COVID in the past three days were reported in Kosciusko County.
In their Tuesday update, the Kosciusko County Health Department reported a total of 138 total cases ending last week on Saturday. That number is 30 higher than the previous week, which was also the old single-week record for cases.
Between last Thursday at noon and Tuesday at noon, 102 new cases combining antigen and molecular cases were reported, bringing the cumulative county total up to 1,538. Of those cases, 296 are considered active, including 14 hospitalizations.
No specific details were given in regards to the two deaths, which Kosciusko County has now seen 19 since the pandemic began.
1,204 people have now recovered from the virus.
