Two more recoveries were reported by the Kosciusko County Health Department in their Friday coronavirus update.
This brings the county to 30 recoveries. With no new cases, Kosciusko County remains at 68 positive cases and one death.
In a breakdown of gender and age, data from the health department shows an even 50-50 split of COVID cases with males and females. Ages 40-49 have the most cases with 16. Ages 50-59 have 14 cases, while ages 60-69 have 12 cases.
Those age 0-39 have 18 cases combined, while 70-89 years old are eight combined.
Kosciusko County has completed 1,393 tests according to the Friday update from the ISDH.
ON THE STATE LEVEL
The Indiana State Department of Health reported 493 new COVID-19 cases and 27 new deaths in their Friday update. This comes from the addition of 5,605 new tests.
The total number of cases in the state is 30,409 and the number of deaths is now 1,791.
The percentage of positive cases in the state continued their decline, falling slightly to 14.6 percent, a 0.1 percent drop from Thursday’s update.
A total of 208,561 cases have now been completed.
