Two police officers within the Warsaw Police Department have received promotions.
Phillip Reed, an 11-year veteran of the department, was promoted to the rank of Sergeant, after recently serving as a Corporal. He was formerly a K9 handler for the department for six years and was part of the Indiana Air National Guard for seven years prior to joining Warsaw.
Justin Curtis, a nine-year veteran of the department, was promoted to Corporal. Curtis has served as the department’s animal control officer since 2014, and formerly served with the Syracuse Police Department and was a reserve officer for the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office and the Winona Lake Police Department.
The department is also continuing to accept applications for a probationary patrol officer. Details can be found on the City of Warsaw website.
