People are gathered in Warsaw on Saturday to help raise money for the family of two-year-old murder victim Adalin Stamper.
Adalin was killed last month. Police say her mother’s boyfriend admitted to the murder.
All the money raised at Saturday benefit went to Adalin’s mother, Katie. The fundraising is took place at American Legion Post 49 in Warsaw.
Josie Ryan, co-manager of American Legion Post 49, said, “It’s been great for the spirit of the family. And it’s really showing them that despite what may happen to an individual, the community…really gets together to get behind you.”
A Texas Hold ’em Tournament started at 10 a.m. followed by a silent auction from 4 to 8 p.m. and a spaghetti supper from 5 to 7 p.m.
