Dental records may need to be used to positively identify the people killed in a fiery crash on U.S. 30 on Saturday..The crash happened at the intersection of US 30 and State Road 19 when police say a semi, driven by 34 year old Adam King of Lima Ohio struck the back of a pick-up truck stopped at the red light. The pick-up became engulfed in flames. The tractor-trailer then continued forward and a second pick-up was hit, that vehicle driven by 58 year old Larry Nelson of Dyer, Indiana. Officers arrived and discovered one of the victims from the first truck hit to be ejected. Firefighters extinguished the fire, only to discover a second burned individual inside the vehicle. Police say the semi driver and the Dyer Indiana couple in the second pick-up that was struck escaped injury. Investigators are not yet sure why the semi driver failed to stop.Kosciusko County Coroner Michael Wilson stated positive ID of both of the deceased individuals has not yet been formally determined.
