The five-year old boy who was recovered from Pike Lake last Tuesday has died.
Indiana Conservation Officers said in a press release over the weekend that the boy passed at a Fort Wayne hospital. The boy was found unresponsive last Tuesday night, just after 7 PM, by a family member near the swimming pier in roughly five feet of water.
First responders provided CPR to the boy, who was taken to Kosciusko Community Hospital before being flown later to Fort Wayne.
The boy’s name has not been released.
